No Ali, but Garrett would. I was quoting them, don't shoot the messenger. Yeah, it's more responsive. You and I and many others would appreciate it. But what sells the turbos is how much more power it makes. The gtx3576r has the response of a gt3076r and makes as much power as a gt3082r. That's a great selling point. Plus if you have a t4 sized manifold the gtx3576r is the smallest turbo you can get. I'm pretty much stuck with it wether I like it or not but with my 3 grand stalky I think it will do well. Time will tell.
Is agree with the above, a GT3076 would be perfect. As a matter of fact a mate is running one on his GT liberty 2L and putting out 410hp. I think the GT3540 is more suited to bigger motors, ie 3+L because these motors have the torque to spool them up quicker.

I been tempted for awhile to get the gtx3076r but with small gains over the 3076r better off to keep the extra $$ in ya pocket and go for the 3076r as for the gtx3576r that link that Sebastian posted makes it sound like a sweet package any ideas when the boost would come on if ya had to guess?
Also Sebastian you can get the gtx3576r with a 82a/r divided but it would be T3

Yeah, unfortunately for me I already have a t4 manifold. Really, the divided 1.06 is the same size as a .82 undivided anyway so it should be pretty responsive still.

If that's all you're after tai why don't you buy Cal's high flowed twins and get a set of Kurt's intakes? As for my build it may be a while before I buy the turbo. They ain't cheap. The cheapest I've found the turbo and turbine housing for is $2200. Then I need to get a dump made and the pipe work on the compressor side (both hot and cold) made, then get everything ceramic coated. Install my cams and get the car tuned. Aargh, what a money pit these cars are.
Knowing my luck my engine will probably blow on the dyno haha.

Because high flow twins are only going to be laggier than stock... I thought the 3076 was more responsive than stock..
I saw another post where they replaced the ct-12 cores with BB as well as high flow which might be an option..
Also, I have no problem if it makes over 300 and I could always bump it up boost later on ;)
Yeah, they do cost a bit to do it properly, but considering anything new that has similar performance will be 3-4 times as much as the soarer + upgrades before they even start to upgrade anything gives me comfort
