Hey Layton i'm working on a set of 3inch intake piping to the turbo's with twin pod filter's would you be interested in giving them a go? Might help you beat that 12.7 your chasing!

Andrew im failing to see what your quoting from me ?
Each car is different , And you can always improve until you are running to the potential of the car .
Great Time mate . FLat 13 first time out is pretty good . 60' is good but the fact you cant make much boost without blowing the tyres off , tells me you should be able to drop the 60' down into the bottom 1.7's at least !
Straight away without changing anything you should go 12.6-12.7 as is . Congrats once again .

Its good to see soarer central alive and kicking once again. lol
Some info for you all in this thread. Always listen to what Daniel Clarke has to say. He has helped me so many times over the years, and he has seen it all and done it all when it comes to mods and especially drag racing.
I have drag raced for over 10 years myself, and although I am similar to Sebastian where I like racing my cars full weight on street tyres, I can understand prepping your car to get the best out of it. I always wanted to do it myself and try get into the 11's with my stock turbos, I am just way too lazy to take things out and then put it back in. lol
There is no reason why a stock turbo Soarer, Automatic cannot run comfortably into the 12's with the right sort of bolt on mods.
Exhaust, Intercooler, Tune, Decent tyres, Shift Kit in the auto. A good launch 60 foot time of 1.8 or 1.9 and there is no reason 12's arent achievable on a regular basis.
Before my 1JZ ended up in heaven one day after work, I was running consistent 12.5s at over 110mph, and that was on street tyres, full weight GTTL 95 model soarer weighing 1650kg without me in it (Im 110kg) every pass I did.
Best was a 12.5@111mph with a 1.85 60 foot. Car had 254RWKW on 18 psi.
If you get a non GTTL Spec early model weighing mid 1500kgs with similar mods and 250RWKW, 12s will be no trouble. It just depends on the launch the most important thing in drag racing.
If you get an average 2.1 or 2.2 second 60 foot you will be struggling to get a 12 second pass.
But get under 2.0 60 foot, it should be quite easy. Its been proven by a number of members on soarer central.
We should organise another drag racing night. I am eager to take down the Soarer to go for a 12.1 or 12.2 in full street trim (lol).

Hi Sebastian,
Out of curiosity would you be able to scan up your timeslip of the 12.7 run. Just want to see what your incremental times were compared to my runs. If you cant scan it can you type the increments including all the times and half track speed and 1/4 mile trap speed. Many Thanks beforehand.

Well not really Sebastian, I've transplanted a 1jzgte engine and transmission into a 73 Corona Mk2 and then started modifying things from there trying to get it quicker. The 4.3 ration has probably been overidden by putting 265 tyres on 16 inch rims on the back which obviously are larger than the front 14's and hence neutralise the taller ration.

Layton, I'd be interested in going if you're organising a soarer run. Although it will probably be on the bike or supra (if it's finished by then). My wife banned me from racing soarers after the Friday night drags. Josh has been bitten by the bug so you could put him down too.

Thanks for that Sebastian. Very much appreciated. Good pass you got there very strong. Very similar to my time with my Soarer. Whats weird is your half track speed and trap speed are both higher than me. But you take 4.43 seconds to go from 1/2 track to the end and I do it in 4.37 seconds with a lower trap speed in both sections.
I predict a 12.3 second pass soon for you get the 60 foot down fix your box and you will get there. I will be heading out soon will be around 60 kilos lighter this time, (supra seats & no full tank of fuel) and I am aiming for a 12.2 pass full weight on street tyres (lol, for Daniel Clarke )
