Went to 3 Repco shops ; the generic ROX203 that was quoted here on the forums is the "screw" in type , and on our car , it has a plate with 2 holes on the outside for mounting... Very different. I could not remove the old O2 sensor from the plate either ( looks like some kind of welding there ) , to see if I can screw in or adapt the new one in one way or the other .
Repco called their suppliers also and noone could provide one with the adaptor plate , and they recommend genuine...

Where did u get that number from? it is so wrong!
OX203PF60 is the correct Repco Number for the correct oxy sensor. I bought one in Aug and it fitted perfectly, it is a bolt on type! $175 from Hoppers Crossing branch.
To remove the oxy sensor, u have to use a 12mm spanner to undo the 2 nuts that are holding down the oxy sensor, then u can easily pull it off the dump pipe. There is DEFINITELY no welding involved.

Do you know what brand it was ? The bananas @Repco can't find it under any catalogue , and in the computer it comes up with a price , but no brand attached to it ; if we knew who makes it would be great ! ( as we can actually order it in ).
