Hi guys, I'm getting the error 52 front knock sensor warning, and I though I knew where the knock sensor was so I've been cleaning the connection etc, but I just realised it's some other sensor that I've been playing with.

Can anyone please post up a pic or a description of where exactly the front knock sensor is located on a 1jz...

Thanks!
Mike

i dont wish to sound silly but i literally just typed "1jz knock sensor location" into google and the first result is a link to this site and this thread:

http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/126/9691.html

which gives two parts diagrams for the locations which are above the starter motor and on cylinder two apparently.

remember google is your friend

Yeah I saw those already but I was hoping for something a with a bit more detail than a basic sketch.
I think I can see the sensor from under my car but the view is so tight from all the surrounding parts that I'm not 100% sure, and the next problem is I can't get my hand or tools to it.
