I've just noticed today that when slowing down and going down gears a fast clicking doing coming from under my car almost like some kid with a playing card in the spokes of his push bike. It only happens when in gear when I back off the accelerator it stops wen I touch the accelerator. It is a r154 with only 94000 k's. I originally thought it was the diff but cinsidering it stops wen I put the clutch I'm now thinking its the gearbox. I don't flog the out of it or anything and I don't drop the clutch I've owned the car for a month and this is the first time it's happened? Please help any advice would be appreciated

Could be the clutch bearing.

If it is the clutch bearing ~$50 but a huge pain to do. Gearbox would need to come out.

While your at it remove flywheel and replace rear oil seal.
It will go eventually.
It's a hard job to do if on the ground.
May look at doing clutch also.

Do it once and not worry about it again.
