Hi guys,
Today i got around to replacing a snapped bolt on my oil return from my single turbo.
To save time i just popped off the front housing, disconnected the pressure side and intake ect.
When i put it back together, i took it for a run and realized i had no boost. i took off the intake and found the shaft not spinning. I realized this was caused by the turbo not being positioned correctly and hitting the cam cover.I loosed off the front housing, rotated it about 1 cm and the shaft was flowing freely.
Now the issue i have is that before my drive with no boost, i was hitting boost cut and 2 psi at 2000rpm. Now when i drive, im getting max 10psi.
Things im thinking are; 1) my EBC like to learn and change things up, 2)i may have jiggled loose a pipe to the intercooler 3)ive done something when removing the wastegate actuator 4)the turbo has been damaged 5)?????
Has anyone had a similar experience, or any other ideas of things i should look at?
