Best description I can give, first few tries to start would not kick over, when It did kick over it was idling very low, some what sputtering noises, one time slight knocking noise.

Few more tries it started again but when I acelerate slighty it just cuts out.

It was running well 5-6 hours ago.

Have you checked all the really basic stuff;
-all electrical plugs are properly connected
-fuel is in fuel tank and pump is pumping
-battery voltage is good (less likely but good to check)

if all the really basic stuff is good
-check the manifold stuff(map sensor, leaks etc)
-check spark plugs

when it runs... all 6 cyl are firing?

the accelerate -> cut makes it sound like under or over fueling (if it isn't a loose/ plug somewhere)
