Hey guys i have been sorting out a kit for ct20s for the good old soarer. All you need to finish these off is 2 front ct20 turbos.

comes with,
-modified manifolds.
-5 inch dump.
-high flow hotpipes.
-modified stock ct20 intakes which have a 6mm larger id measurment than stock ct12.
-modified oil lines with flexible feed line.
-modified actuators.

This first set pictured is getting installed tonight so will post up some pics of it installed soon.
Have another 3 sets on order already so interest has been good so far.
Will be another turbo uprade option for the soarer as supra guys are almost throwing these sets away.

Hey Danny, the kit is $1350 as pictured. Some parts are on exchange basis ie ct 20 actuators, oil lines and stock intakes.

And people will need to source 2 front ct 20 turbos.

this will spool real well, I reckon, and look pretty stock under the bonnet(at least to everyone but a 1JZ enthusiast). I'm predicting a large chunk of power gain. The turbos are generally v cheap too.

Its in, up and running. Had some issues with the front oil feed and return but i'll sort that out properly now.
Spooling as good as stock if not better i've been told and is sitting on 7psi.
Later today they will up the boost to 14psi.
So good feedback so far.
Not to sure on the potential but it will be a bucket load more than the ct12s thats for sure.
And cheap yea Blake i picked up a perfect pair for $200 this week.

When i had supra turbos on mine, I never had it dynoed, but the cars trap speed compared to other cars on the day, which did go on the dyno the following day, suggested 270rwkW at 18 psi. Kurts system has a much better dump. Fully tunable management would also yield more. There's no reason they couldn't push 340rwkW on E85.
The bigger diameter shaft also means these ceramics are less prone to failure under high boost. (the majority of aristo/supra ceramic turbo failures are due to the sequential system.)

Might look to getting two front ct20's then for when the twins eventually do need replacing. Looks good :-)

Have you found people willing to split a set of twins up? Or do you end up having to buy two decent sets of turbos, and just use the two front ones, and on-sell the rear turbos? $200 for a set of good twins is really not too bad at all Kurt! Much cheaper than a set of highflowed ct12's

I wonder if I could get by without having to get the e-manage blue re-tuned if I changed to these turbos..

Have to say, I do like the stock look of that motor. Another upside for myself would be the sale of the dual intakes and the dump pipes from the ct12's - which would go towards funding these bad boys.

No i haven't really asked to split sets as i'm happy to take the 2nd turbo for spares if its any good.
If you have to pay $400 plus for 2 sets it gives you a spare set of centres which is another positive if the first ones happen to die for some reason.
I would think it would need another tune to be safe as they are a decent size bigger than the 12's.
But definitely keeping it stock looking is a bonus.

I have one pair of CT20s, chasing a second set. Once I have a pair of front turbos, I will be trying this setup on the race car.

I will be shooting for a reliable and responsive 400rwkw. If they can provide that in my race car, they will last forever on the street an should be nice and drivable. They will need to be highflowed by Glenn Munro of course, but his CT12a highflows have been making a reliable 300rwkw in the race car for the last two years so I reckon the CT20 will be up for it.

For sure they will be up for it Ben. I will send you the manifolds by the end of the week and dump, actuators and oil lines the week after mate. I'm getting there slowly.

Awesome Kurt. I think I have secured a second pair of turbos - I will be picking up during WTAC this year.

I will then talk to Glenn about highflowing the pair of front ones. I am not to sure about his turn around times on those, but hope to sweeten the deal by donating a set of CT12A turbos I have been keeping as spares to build up his stocks.

I've been trying to get the guy to get it on the dyno but no luck. Even offered to pay...

Just finished set number 3 so there is some results coming real soon!
Also doing twin 3 inch intakes for them now too.

I have had my experimental high flows on the dyno. I need to sort a wastegate actuator issue (the OEM actuators are not up to the task - who knew, LOL)

Results are promising, with over 300rwkw on 12psi. Boost comes up quick and holds flat through the revs. One I get some custom actuators made to suit the custom turbos, on the custom manifolds (notice a pattern?) we should see what they are capable of in the vicinity of 20 psi. To put that in perspective, I was making 300rwkw on 20-22 psi on the CT12a high flows and stock piping.

I am not shooting for a number and have instructed the tuner I want good, usable torque, with reliability a primary concern. The only numbers I care about are lap times. As a dyno queen, I am sure someone could extract more power but that tune would not last 15 minutes of full throttle torture.

Prices vary depending on whether i'm supplying the 2nd hand turbos or you get them rebuilt high flowed from Glenn Munro.

I can supply the lot for around $2200.
Or around $1800 without turbos.
I need to get a price from Glenn on the high flowed option.
These are no doubt looking the goods with Bens tantalizing brief stint on the dyno last week and will surely look stockish and open a few eyes.
