Hello just looking for some help/advice.
the car is a 92 soarer with 1jz.

My issue is the 1jz will idle for a second or two then die when the car is warm. As the rpm is dropping you cannot rev it to stay started.

If you startup and rev rate away to 3000-3500rpm for 30 seconds and let off, it stays running. On cold start it starts no problem and stays running thanks to the fast idle.

Here is a video i made

Today i cleaned the iacv and didnt do anything.

Has anyone ever had this issue before?
maybe the ecu?

Had the same issue years back. Was the fuel pump ecu, swapped another 2nd hand one in and jt was fixed!
Its located in the car passenger side just behind the front seatbelt.

Thank you very much. I will get another one soon.

After a bit of research into the fuel pump ecu, it seems like a issue for the soarer / jza80.

Yes it is, lots of people have had issues with those.
But i had the same issues you had, was very annoying even going to fill up at the petrol station and it would just stall and do it a few times in a row too, was embarrassing.. lol
