From what I have seen on most of the forums, most people do their 5000km services at home (i.e. change the oil and filters) and once in a while takes it to a mechanics shop to get a full service done (i.e. 10000km).
Now I know that some people also do their 10000km service at home, but for my warranty purposes I have to get the stamp from the mechanics shop every 10000km's.
So my question is how does one perform this "back yard" servicing? I know how to change the oil and swap over filters? Is there anything specifically that I should be doing, should not be doing? Just after a simple guide for doing this servicing instead of having to fork out for labour at these shops.
