Ok I just bought a R154 from Lew and its sitting in the garage. All good, now I need some parts from Toyota :-)

I need the Slave cylinder, thrust bearing and slip yoke.

So if anyone can help me out with the part numbers for these would be a great help :-)

By the way Lew if you are reading this, the manual IS shorter than the autobox. The tailshaft needs to be lengthened 56mm. So I am going to see if someone can do a cylindrical hunk of metal (or several) that can go in between the front shaft and tail shaft.

Don't forget the spigot bearing either. Its recomended to put a new rear main seal in also. The front gearbox seal is another good idea.

I'd suggest fitting new master and slave cylinders as they tend to bind up sitting empty of fluid and exposed to the air unused for months/years and then when you fit, fill with fluid and start using them, your left with worn/scared bores when they grind away the accumulated grit and you're left with a notchy clutch release.
Only a few hundred dollars new from Toyota but will make a huge different in clutch feel from the day you start driving it.

Ok so the list is getting bigger.

Slave Cylinder.
Master Cylinder.
Front gearbox seal.
Thrust bearing.
Spigot bearing.
Slip yoke for clutch.
Center console bit.
Gear knob.

I already have a brand new main seal.

Yeah my only problem now Lew is Manny says I don't have a speed sensor on my box for the ABS and my ABS won't work. I am looking into getting around this.

If you are talking about the yoke on the tailshaft for the manual box just use the auto one.
Do you have the manual tailshaft or are you extending the auto?
If you are extending then its easy enough to do that.

Slip yoke??
You use the auto one - just lengthen the existing tailshaft front section and reuse the slip yoke from the auto box.

Justin, the issue is your lack of electronic speed sensor on that box you sent pics of. If it was from a JZA70, it only has the mechanical cable driven speed output - it wasn't equipped with ABS so doesn't have an electronic speed sensor to drive your dash, ecu, pps, cruise etc

Oh, you mean the thrust bearing carrier - sits around the input shaft and is held onto the thrust bearing/pressure plate by a large circlip??

Yeah that's the one, the thrust bearing one.

So three options.

1) Sell this box, and buy one with the electronic speed sensor.

2) Find a speed sensor and its inside matching spinning bits :-)

3) See if I can purchase the electronic speed sensor and its components.
