on the left side rear corner beside the brake booster there is some sort of air bag which keeps on compressing and releasing. is it normal for a TT because i have looked on other TT and they do now have it. what is it and how can i make the noise stop?

You have TRC?

It's your accumulator going nuts on your brake booster.

It's out of nitrogen pressure and will need replacement soon.

Neil can get them.

Well you just unscrew the old one and after parting with $300 plus for a new one screw in the new.
Thing is, where it is means the whole unit needs to come out and then it'll all need bleeding so replace the brake fluid as well.
Best to leave to the experts.
You didn't mention what the frequency was of the compressions. If there's only a few seconds between them you should get it done soon but if there's minutes then you'll have time to save up.
