G'day guys,

I have had a twin turbo engineered and the inspection revealed that the power steering pump has been starved of fluid and has caused it to have noisy bearings.

Now is it possible to just replace the bearing and other essential items or will it need an entire new pump? if So how much is it going to cost me to replace the pump or the bearings and other components?

Cheers, matty

Man its quite easily fixed and shouldnt cost more than $500 as thats what it will cost you for a whole new pump reconditioned.

The kits is just the seals, it doesn't include the bearing or cater for any other damage that might have happened to the pump.

I purchased a second hand pump for $80. removed and fitted new one myself and bleed the whole system with new fluid. presto feather light steering! none of this 1988 nissan patrol non-power steering business.
