Whenever I put the foot down the car goes then stops and goes again like somethin is blocking the engine from moving, could this be because the fuel ecu is gone?
Any suggestions? Only started to happen after I brought it back from luxury cars when they fixed my water pump.

I had a similar problem. It would run fine until I accelerated quickly, when it would just cut out completely for half a second or so, and then work again, and then repeat itself until I stopped accelerating. The moment I put fuel in, it worked fine. Which indicated either faulty fuel pickup, or just bad fuel...don't quite know. But it's never done it since i filled up???
Might be worth a shot.

i had the same problem once.
I got a pod on so i decided to shield it. so i got some air ducting tube things (not sure what they are called).
Placed it over the pod and got a cable tie to have it tied up at the back so no hot air comes through, and i had the front over the black intake.
After it was done i took it for a drive and then as soon as i put my foot down (reaching 3000 rpm it lost power). HAD no idea why trying to have a cold air induction would do that.
Pulled over to check out what was happening........ turned out that the whole pod filter got deformed (squashed in from the centre).
Took the CAI out and it was back to normal again.......
