hey guys..
just a question to those with tt soarers. how does your car do on petrol? i went for a criuse on my holies, and my soarer did 8.7 approx (which i think isnt that flash considering is was mostly highway driving). is it just my soarer or is it like that for all soarer tt's?

I spent the last tank of fuel trying to drive as moderately as possible to save fuel (I had some occasional misgivings) and got 9.6km/L. That's on BP Ultimate. You get worse using premium or god forbid normal unleaded, not to mention less performance.

I get 550km a tank time and time again. That's to 7litres left so 70 used.

Highway I can get about 800-850 a tank. TT.

Mods include FMIC, BFI (extra 40km a tank from this) and a TRD panel filter. Boost controller running 17psi.

Bit worried when my 540cc's go in....

Sydney city driving (not CBD - basically, from the Airport to Fox Studios and back every day, with the occasional trip down the M5 to Campbelltown), I get ~650km / Tank of ~ 70L. I think that I'm lucky in having a very fuel efficient TT though.. :D

I generally get about 500 for town driving *including bits of "spirited driving" here and there.

When im on the freeway its easily over 700kms... the Soarer LOVES the open road.

MODS : POD in CAI, Exhaust *no dumps*, FMIC, .9 bar boost.

I usually run on Caltex Vortex Gold.

it seems with a couple of mods such as BFI or POD exhaust and FMIC makes it a hell of a differance

Yep, and a fuel computer to lean her out.

Around town I get 450-500 (while driving conservatively) and about 325-350km while I'm fanging it.

I just ran mine out after picking it up from compliance, i managed to get 864km before the 10L left warning light came on, according the stickers under the bonnet it had recently been tuned, in japan. I have been using BP 98ron, so i'm not sure how it would go on other fuel.

Exactly Travis, even with my poor economy, I wouldn't trade my Soarer for anything.

I got my 450-500k's on Mobil 8000, I've filled up with BP Ultimate this time, and am gonna give it a test run.

Thing is, I find it hard to test as everytime I get in, and a green light, I find it hard not to floor it and spin into 2nd testing out my shift kit. :-)
