Cause they are SImple and easily modded and easily wired up Aaron. Also easy to fit the Jatco 4 speed auto behind em which is easy to fit up to T350/T400 gearbox mounts. So the Rb30 route requires probably less modifications. I have owned a couple of stout Rb30T calais in the past, and a simple cheap motor that pumps!

And with that said, WHy not put a 1J and be done:-)
