I reckon NOS, a wing for downforce and some more stickers will help. Can never have too many stickers. Pump up your subwoofers to maximum bass for a rocket boost-like effect.

Yang, If it's a one off have you considered weight reduction? Along with the necessary mods offered here on the forums (I'm not a turbo owner) Spare tyre, tools, rear seats non essential panels and trim?

Also the entire AC system(50kg), all carpets(15kg), all the centre console bits and dash parts(10kg) and 30kg of wiring loom under there too!! Now we were getting bit too stupid...after all, it's a road car.
Seriously, it won't take much. How fast was that STI? They are nothing! Torque and power divided into 4 wheels, no boost till 4000rpm...I have done it before, too easy it was, and he was hammering!(rev the t*ts off this STI, sounded good, very mean WRX sound, but all show no go! I was like: .... stall it up, GREEN light! take off, he kept side by side for about 2 sec and then my boost kicked right in...then I thought he parked his car! :D cya!)
I know for sure that a stock TT will beat a stock WRX easily. My friends have tried it since they each have those cars. Now, to beat an STI, u need BFI, dump pipes(a MAJOR performance drawback on TT's), and free up the rest of the exhaust system with 3" collector pipe to a 3" high flow cat, then 2 and 1/4 twins with cannons. That will bump up the boost automatically to 13psi. Then get FMIC, some kind of piggy back fuel management to lean off the AF ratio(2nd MAJOR drawback on TT's), eg. SAFC. Stock rear suspension will do, otherwise you will lose too much take off traction due to stiff spring rates. That will give you 180RWKW if you keep your car in good mechanical condition, eg. changed plugs, engine oil, tranny oil and decent rubbers. Do you have an auto? If so, keep rear tyre pressure around 26psi and stall to 3200 RPM to drag that STI off. That will easily match up a STI if not beat it. If you have a manual...hmmmm, thats bit harder, I am not an expert on that, you need to ask someone who owns a manual TT. But do keep you rear tyre pressures low though!
Cost? 150 for inlet upgrade, 400 for dumps, 900 for 3" collector pipe + 3" high flow cat + cannons with 2 1/4 pipes, 1000 for FMIC, 300 for SAFC, 200 for dyno tuning. So, almost $3000 to beat a STI. Oh, add about 600 extra if you want to get a mechanic/welder to install/make those mods for you.
