Hello guys,
I am just wondering if it normal for a 94 TT to vibrate whilst the car is not moving but engine is running. Once moving the vibrations completely goes away. It seems to be idling nicely. I'm just interested it not a violent vibration or anything like that.

Just checked the idle and when it vibrates it drops down to around the 500 - 550 mark. It was idleing around that mark even when it was cold. Is this an easy adjustment to be made? Thanks for all the help so far.

Daniel, low idle means something isn't quite right. You need to find out what and fix it. There isn't a simple idle screw adjustment on cars these days. Start doing some serious searching and reading here and you will find a lot of other peoples experiences quite helpful and sometimes even humorous

Clean your ISCV. Should fix the problem.
I had a low idle to around 537rpm or so which cleared up after cleaning the ISCV. Problem is I still have another vibration source somewhere else, I might check my gearbox mounts. Better not be the balancer

Idle speed control valve It's up near the passenger side of the engine on the intake manifold. Just don't clean it with anything too harsh as it will dissolve the delicate (nylon?) bearings inside it. Unfortunately they cannot be disassembled, and are over $1000 new from your toyota stealer.
Ben Socratous TryHard SA Iv'e got less interior that all of you!!!
