Hey guys, I got a question about my diff. If I drop a burnout, it locks up beautifully and quickly dispenses two lines of Pirelli everywhere. If I hook it sideways into a corner, and get it a *little* smoky out back, it only lights up the outside wheel? (at least thats what the evidence says) Is this to do with the whole 1 way/1.5 way/2 way thing or have I just dropped one too many??

A torsen will send the excess power to the wheel with the MOST grip, which of course will be the outside wheel during a corner, although the inside wheel will also be losing traction seeing as how the car is sideways!
I make a point of NOT returning to the scene of the crime to examine any tyre marks
but I can only suggest that the outside wheel is the only one leaving rubber because it is the one with all the load- the inside wheel is just scuffing and not burning as such.

Are you sure you have a LSD?

The torsen spins both wheels consistently 99% of the time.

If its picking up the inside wheel through a corner then that's a common for a open center.

Check your build plate for what diff you have.

no, its definately a TT, theres two lines that says so on Trower Rd.

We were just wondering why it was only leaving one big mark into a corner, and im sure its due to having a passenger in the car, an off camber turn, and a little thing called gravity. I'd do another one but Rob will kill me. Ill wait for my federals to arrive.
