Hey guys,
I've tried looking on the Planet Soarer site and also did a search in the archives but nothing of much use came up.
My car does not have a build plate. It's only got the VIN number stamped on the top of the tirewall so I'm not 100% sure on the exact frame number except for the JZZ30 part.
I'm busy getting a hold of some new suspension parts but I need to find out what the differences are in the different JZZ30s as my supplier wants to know whether I've got a GTT or a GTT-L... (Aparently this might affect what sorta shocks I buy?)
My car:
No Leather No Woodgrain No Sub No EMV
Would anyone be able to point me in the right sort of direction?
You've got what I got (apart from the woodgrain part) sounds like it's a pov-pack GT-T. You'll be able to tell the difference as the GT-T has no electric seats, no TEMS suspension (that's what the guy is referring to probably) no SCROLL function on the dash, no sub (although I think that was an option), no cargo net on the back of the seats, no ABS, no TRC, hmmmm, can't think of other things. Look under the bonnet on the suspension towers, do you have a fancy Piezo Toyota Electronically Modulated Suspension black cover thingy? If not then you go for the GT-T suspension.

I wasn't aware that the JZZ30s actually had the option of TEMS suspension!!
It's not the same as the V8 Air TEMS -- TT is coil springs. Toyota use the "TEMS" label on all sorts of different cars / MPVs / 4x4s. It just means that there is some sort of electronic suspension adjustment.

Mine's a GT-TL but I don't have the LCD rear view mirror or the sun visors that light up when you move the slide for some reason. Just have the standard rear view mirror and the stupid flip down thing for the mirror.

I have the LCD mirror, and the little flip down thing, ABS, TEMS, Sunroof ( HAR! ), busted suspension, rooted wheel bearings and a sticking rear caliper.

OK kids, here are the model codes that denote whether you've got a GTT (Pov-Pak) or GTT-L (Luxo-Pak) TT. These codes are found on the Toyota data plate, which is attached to the drivers side inner fender.
JZZ30-ACMVZ (GTT with manual trans)
JZZ30-ACPVZ (GTT with auto trans)
JZZ30-ACMZZ (GTT-L with manual trans)
JZZ30-ACPZZ (GTT-L with auto trans)
After this reference there will be your actual chassis number for your vehicle.
