the last few weeks I have noticed a very slight (but it is there) miss or hesitation, I always start the car and let it idle and warm up for about 4 or 5 minutes before i actually drive off, and really baby it until it gets up to normal temp. and the last few weeks it seems to have a slight miss, once i put my foot down a few extra mil(not when its on boost just when its coming up to it) put once the temp gauge gets to half (where it normally sits) you can put your foot flat and it runs like a dream.
any one have any idea what it could be? plugs are two weeks old and the fuel filter is one week. coil packs looked fine when i did the plugs, I even put silicon spray around the coils so there not arking out. I cant really think of anything else it could be. though it does feel a little like an ignition problem.

Im not really sure what you are talking about, are you saying you get to just before boost then it dies on its ass, kinda like its been put in nutrual and just seems to roll. then roars back into life.? I think i had a similar problem a while ago, and then it just went away, i personally think i got a bad batch of fuel. Eventually it got better.

Have you tried an ECU reset? Also what type of plug did you put in? Could be a case of bad fuel also, id suggest putting in some sort of octane booster and run the current tank as low as you can and then refill with some quality 98+ octane fuel

You can't make high boost when it is cold , it won't let you . Mine does the same ... It is by design . I have tested it by unplugging the temp sensor and it WILL boost OK then . It has to be warmed up to make boost , to keep your pistons in place

ok the plugs are fine used the same ones that i have used every other time with the same gap and all so its not them. Im not coming on boost at all just really lightly pushing the pedal down from bout idle to 3000ish so its not coming on boost and the ECU trying to stop it. could be the fuel but I have always got it from the same servo since I have had the car and never had a problem with it, and it only happens when its cold. so I dont think its the fuel or you would think it would do it all the time. I really havn't got many more ideas what it could be.

started it up today while it was cold it even idled with a miss in it. once it was warm it was fine! I had hooked up my SAFC and it wasn't running right so I unhooked it and this is when I noticed the miss at idle. I let it warm up and then took it for a drive and it didnt miss at all, and when I got back and let it idle again in the drive way there was no miss. no idea what it is.
