Hi I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem. Have a 91 TT 2.5 that starts most times OK. But every 10 or so starts it will start, run for 5 seconds then run rough and stall. Most times it will restart and run OK next time, but some times it can take up to 5 goes.It does not matter if the engine is hot or cold to cause the problem. Where do I start to look ?

Hey Bob,

First thing i would try is an ECU reset.

If that doesnt help then perhaps check out your spark plugs?
