Just so everyone knows, after my big install and putting an engine that has been sitting around for probably 9 months, the alternator I think has absorbed too much moisture and died!

Anyhow the Cat light was going berserk, (at light throttle) and I thought it was the PowerFC dumping too much fuel. But no black smoke and then the klingon to tell me the alternator wasn't charging the battery anymore. The cat light and klingon came on and off together!

Also to further prove its the alternator the car ran like when the lights came on (loss of power (spark)) and the fan on the aircon, went from super HIGH...to low.....super HIGH to low.. (without anyone touching a button!)

Luckily I have a spare on my other engine, so should be a hour job tomorrow to fix :-)

Just so you know TT owners ;)
