has anyone had this problem - the car was lazy to start a few days ago, so i replaced the battery. it worked ok for about 2 days...

now it wont start at all.
there is no clicking of the starter motor.
does this mean that its (the starter motor) shot?

can anyone recommend a good place to take the car to on the north side of Brisbane??

Whats the voltage of the battery now? You could have a dead alternator. Can you hear the solenoid of the starter engaging?

If the battery is flat again its most likely the alternator. Hopefully its something simple like the regulator or brushes. Could also be bad earth.

Are you sure it is not just the starter motor solenoid?
Also I think the 7MGE starter motor fits the 1JZ.
