Hi everyone,
I'm just looking to buy my first soarer. I've found one that I really like. It's in immaculate condition, and appears to have not been thrashed. It drives really well also. My question is, its done 133,000 k's and has not yet had its turbo seals replaced. There is no smoke and they appear to be in fine condition at the moment. I'm not looking to boost them or anything either. How long can the seals actually last before they'll need to be replaced.
I heard they SHOULD be changed every 100,000 but can they last much longer??
Thanks guys, Chris P.s. how much to re-do the seals??
My car's got 195K on the clock, and only recently started smoking... not sure what it is yet exactly (valve stem seals or turbos), no time to get it checked.

Once my car reached 90,000km one of the turbo seals went, but I had it replaced under warranty, but I have a friend that has just bought a Soarer with 240,000km on the clock and hasn't had a seal go yet.
