Hey all can you please help me out my pride and joy cut out on me last night. Well this is the story in a nut shell for the last week and half my right battery lead keeps coming loose and basically every second time i start my car it will die and there is no power at all and then i have to pop my bonnet and push the lead down and it will power up again but me being me i havnt tighten it yet.So last night the same happened again i pop the bonnet and pushed the lead back into place and it powered up again and it was fine and thats what i thought any way half way down the road it decided to die while i was driving every bit of power was gone so i stopped and poped the bonnet and it was loose again so i did the usuall but i was concerned because it never did this while i was driving but anyway i started her again but the second she started to idle she would cut out but everything else was working though. Once again i started her and reved her so she couldnt cut out and then i turned her around and took her back home but she was idling like she would cut out any second now but then i parked her and left her over night and im here telling you guys the story, please help i miss driving her so bad i had to drive my 1990 soarer which is so slow hehe any way any ideas guys i need her running by tommorow because of and lcd replace thanks guys for listening to my boring story, let me know.

1) Go back to school and learn to write properly.
That really is crap to read.

2) Stop being so forking lazy and tighten the battery lead properly.

It sounds like the lead came off the battery completely, wiping the ECU in the process. TT's idle insanely ruff after an ECU reset. A bit of driving will re-teach the ECU leading to it eventually smoothing out - search up ECU reset and it'll explain what to do.

And as Peter said, stop being lazy and tighten the battery lead before some real damage occurs!

Luke, if you can read the original post, pretty difficult I know, it isn't a case of SMS-speak.

Looking at it closely, the things that make it difficult to read are:- long sentences, lack of comma's and lack of paragraph breaks.

Get a new set of battery lead terminals. You can't drive around with it stalling on you at any point in time. What would happen if you're in the middle of turning right at an intersection and your car stalls?

You'd get collected by about 10 cars.
And all the red light cameras if you were in melbourne...

Or driving at 100km/hr and loose your power braking...

You can also damage the stereo seriously if you have a loose battery connection.
It cost me 3 amps when a guy from NRMA didn't connect it properly.

I think a stereo is more important than brakes and power steering =P
