Driving home last night, I turned a corner, put my foot down and there was a loud metallic pop from under the bonnet and instant loss of power. My wonderful V8 now sounded like a bag of bolts in a dryer!
I had the car toed to the workshop and this morning they called to say that tensioner pulley had sheared off and this could be because of fatigue. The major cam belt service was done just a couple of months ago and they replaced the pulleys, so my question is do they also replace the bolts??

You'd think that they would double check everything.
As for the bolts I'd be damn mad if they didn't change mine and that happened to me. I would be questioning their work and asking them what they are willing to offer to rectify this damage.
