Yep, sounds like it. Actually not a bad thing soundwise though, headers bump up the noise and harshness a bit.

yeah i dont really want to down the road of headers, just a nice tune and subtle improvement in performance.

got plenty of other things i want to do though, led's, need new tyres, going to coilovers next week as my airbags are shot, just cant justify the cost of new bags, pity, but there you go!

also drivers seat neds recovering, the leather has all cracked.
but still a great car to drive, oh and having all the bushes replaced as well so should stop the shudder and tramlining a lot, i hope!
car has done 140k;s do you think i should get the engine mounts chaanged as well?

Seeing as you are restoring it, yes, do the engine and transmission mounts.

Doing all the bushes will make it very nice!

yeah it does wobble a bit over the bumps!
cant believe the refinements you get in a 92 model car in comparison to the fords and holdens, especially at the price you can pick up a soarer for these days!

Is it better to get a X or H-Pipe for a exhaust system?

Depends on who you ask.

General concencus seems to be H pipe for sound, X pipe for performance.

Opinions are like A holes, everyone's got one and they all stink!!

I don't think there's much difference.

I would say X pipe for looks, H-pipe for cheapness.
