Can you attach an ammeter or sensitive voltmeter to the battery, so you can see it when it is off the ground, then see what happens when the wheels clear the ground?
Is your rear switch defective? Do you get the message on the dash to say it is off when you switch on the car?
Have you stood next to the right front wheel well when it is hoisted, listening for the pump, or just disconnected it and tried that on the hoist?
Obviously, I suspect the air suspension pump is running when it is hoisted so, when you have confirmed there is in fact an increased current drain, eliminate that problem before we get to more mysterious sources.
If there is no increased current drain, the cause is definitely Maeve.

The god of Last Thursdayism. It may have escaped your attention that the world was created by a house-cat last Thursday. All your apparent memories, the universe and so on were planted in your mind, this being no big deal for an omnipotent god.
She likes to keep a paw in what happens in the world, and thus will provide a complete explanation should you not find any other cause for your mysterious problem.

The god of Last Thursdayism......
Bugger! - Peter better get a 'Philosophy' thread going for the likes of you and Neil.
By the way, that problem Ashley had with the brake piston - if you need a spare piston to tide him over until a new one arrives, I have one Neil gave me a while back with minimal pitting and a quite good one from Jeff Harper - may help to keep the car on the road - I just replaced mine yesterday.
