im lookin a buying into a v8 soarer simply bcuz i love the luxurys it has...thing is i wana know how good the fuel economy is...as in how much litres per 100 km's it gets.....i have been told the tank holds 75 litres is this correct? and on a full tank u wuld manage about 450 - 500 kms does this sound correct????

stick a block of wood under your pedal and you will get 700km out of a tank.
seriously it really depends where and how you drive it. When driven conservatively, you can get 550 out of a tank, even more during a steady highway trip. Gun it 80% of the time and you may get lucky to get to 400km. It is really in your hands.....umm your right foot .

The tank holds 78 litres. This is probably the single most covered topic on Soarer Central. As Peter says, Search. You will get what the previous threads say, depending on how you drive.
If you think fuel economy is the most important issue for you then buy a Corolla; or a bicycle.

Jarrad, please use the search feature, and look up petrol consumption, I can guarantee you, you will find at the very least about 10 separate topics on it, exclusive of whether installing LPG on a Soarer is a viable option or not

Jarrad, please read more carefully.
Zero people told you to go to another forum.
Zero people told you to "go to a search engine".
Several experienced people gave you good advice about how to use this site effectively and how to fit in with the community.
I know that every community has its own peculiarities and it can take some time to pick up the local flavour. However, this one encompasses a broad range of views and is capable of being enormously helpful. It is your choice on whether you want to listen carefully and to join in.

Jarrad, have a look at the top of this web page.
There are words like "New Posts", "Profile" etc.
They are actually working buttons for the Forum (called a "menu") and one of them is called "Search". So if you click on it, you will get the Search function that we have all been talking about. No real mystery involved.
Another useful trick is to use the shift key on your keyboard where appropriate.

Mark, that is fantastic information for anyone doing a comparison and having a better idea of fuel consumption on one page. Of course everyone will have their own individual figures which are dependant on topography, temperature, temperament, traffic, tuning, servicing, air on/off, traction on/off, power setting, auto or manual, air cleaner type, modifications blah, blah, blah etc, ad hoc, ad infinitum.

If anyone wants that spread sheet PM me. Well I'll let you's know now basically 22nd December was sitting on 178km/h
also if you look here http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/285/134167.html?1171692224 you'll see just how poor the soarer was running before the ecu was repaired. Take note of the way the air/fuel ratio is all over the shop and running rich as. Compared to now with the ecu been fixed. That was the only mod and I gained 10kw out of it and better fuel.
