Yesterday after travelling about 50k's, I was stopped at some lights and the motor stopped. No trouble starting and no readouts to indicate a problem. I have ordered a fuel filter as this is all I can think of at the moment. Also I am replacing the old plug leads. Any other thoughts?

i had a similar problem, but my car cut out while driving at around 60k's, the car just cut out, wouldn't start for a few minutes, then it would start, ended up been an alternator issue..

Mike, Check all your earth leads on the car. It has been covered before and can do strange things like what you mentioned.

Yeah, thanks Daniel, I have cleaned those recently and the problem has not recurred so I'll just hope for the best.
