when i reverse my car from my drive way and then i put it into drive i put my foot on the accelerator it wont take off and then my car just kicks forward and i drive off

Some more timing information needed Shadi. If you flip it from reverse to drive and plant your foot then it will take a moment for the gears to change and power to be applied. Separate out the actions - is it slow to change from reverse into forwards or, if you engage drive from neutral, wait a moment and then plant your foot, is it slow to respond to the accelerator? *


* no V8 jokes from the peanut gallery please, I asked him about a response, not acceleration rate

its slow to respond when i accelerator then the car just kicks forward like a mannual car

Or does it do it when warm as well?

it does it both cold and warm today on my way home from work i started my car put it in drive put me foot on the accelerator and the car took about 5 seconds to take off and again it gave me a kick start like a mannual car

If it does it both warm and cold then its less likely to be low fluid, and more likely to be a mechanical problem (gbox stuffed, torque converter stuffed).

But check the fluid level anyway.

this might sound stupid but i can not find the transmission fluid is it the same as engine oil

See below. ATF = Auto Transmission Fluid.
The engine should be warm and running (in neutral) when you check it.

so when i check it my gears should be in neutral what bout when im filling in the fluid should it still be in neutral or park

i just found out that i need a new petrol pump thats whats causing the problem
