Just about to replace my front brake pads. What type/brand does everyone use? Cost, milage you get out of them would be appreciated too.

Cheers!

There are differing opinions, try a search on "brake pads" and start reading.

Keep in mind that you choice may be a bit limited if you still have the stock V8 brakes.

Toyota pads. Bite well when cold, no dust, no squealing.

I have EBC Greenstuff. They have done about 8,000 km for little wear. I like them. No squeal, nice bite when cold, light dust. Some members here believe Soarers are too heavy for them, but I suspect it depends on your driving style. They have a initial coating which cleans the disc up nicely.

I use green stuff fronts Very dusty and red stuff rears with RDA slotted rotors work well no squeal thank god! Previous pads? drove me nuts, will definitely try Toyota ones next. Try HiTech Osborne park, good $ for replacements or Toyota i guess?
