Bah changed the plugs the other day as the old ones were rooted out to 1.6mm on Iridums after 50,000kms and 4 bottles of NOS.
Now running 0.7mm plugs so the gas doesn't blow out the spark, drove round for a couple of hundred km's and noticed the car was starting to hunt so I went looking and came up with a cracked no 7 lead so replaced the leads with a set of bosch 5mm leads, and while I was at it changed the passanger rotor button and dizzy cap.

Since doing that I still have the same problem with the car "hunting" has a miss while stopped and in basically anything other than N or P. As well as a piss farting around getting moving, and as well as that I know have an engine electrical light coming on pretty much straight after start up.

I've doubled checked the plugs and there's only 4 I can see that I have actually undone and can refind so I'm stuffed I don't know what's going on and I'm at a witts end with it.

Some advice would be great until I can get it into a mechanics.

Thank you

I'm having the same problem, the engine struggling, as though it wasnt getting fuel.. I've diagnosed it to be a faulty AFM, as when its disconnected it runs better. Try disconnecting the AFM.

I had the same problem. It was the spark plug leads. Check each spark plug lead resistance or better yet buy new ones because they break easy and are pretty much only good for one use. If they are really hard to pull out than chances are you will damage them when you change the plugs, so buy new leads if you change the spark plugs unless you are very careful.

If you disconnect the AFM you will notice a difference but I think that’s only because the ECU goes into limp mode if it can’t see the AFM so disconnecting it doesn’t really solve your problems if the spark pug leads are cactus.

Works for me.

Oh, I see you have already changed the leads? Well that blows my solution out the window.
