(Or so ive heard it be called)
My Dilemma:

So my car has been on stands 4 ages and I WANT TO GET IF OFF so i can finally drive it again! But i keep on getting held back on things. The latest being the cooling system.

I decided to invest in a new radiator due to a leak and the use of dodgy coolant from the last owner.

So i disconnected the radiator and let the soup pour out, took it out, ordered a new one... but before i can fit it i need to drain the block, and flush the heater matrix...

Problem #1
I cant locate the drain points on the block.
Ive seen it mentioned somewhere there is one for each cylinder. Pictures or a good description would help.

Problem #2
EMV doesnt work, hence the heat cant be turned on to open the valve in the Heater unit. What is advised here?? Do i take the EMV out and replace it with the Climate control unit or is there a way to get the coolant out of there without turning the heater on?

There is a single drain point under the passengers exhaust manifold. Not easy to get at.

Have a look at the tutorial, also do the heater VSV bypass trick. Search can help you find it.

There is one on each side of the block.
I done a flush on my Celsior and my mothers Soarer by following this :
http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/cooling/coolant.html
It shows where the drain cocks are located.
Hope that helps.
