Hey guys, I have had a look through the site and i can't really find anything that describes what the problem is.
When the car is sitting at lights or at a stop, there is some white smoke coming from the engine bay, not a lot, but enough to notice. I have pulled over and opened the bonnet. The smoke/steam seems to come from the back left( Drivers side) of the block. After around 20-30 seconds the smoke stops coming out.
Im not sure if it is the rear seal. I can't see any oil leaking under the car.
It only happens after driving the car for a while. Any help would be great. Thanks

Smoke or steam? Could it be a coolant leak?

You need to determine if it is smoke or steam first. Perhaps have a sniff.

Rear seal leaks generally just drop to the ground as the exhaust pipes run either side of the engine/gearbox.

Seems to be smoke Peter. Had a good look this morning. I think there is a small oil leak dropping down onto the extractors. Not 100% sure though.

Keep an eye on your gearbox and engine oil levels. If the leak is bad enough, you'll know pretty soon which one is leaking.

Jason,
I have had a similar problem and have tracked it down to the bolts on the cam covers not being tight and allowing oil to escape thru only when the motor is running. A new rocker cover seal or just tighten the bolts may solve the problem.
