Hey all, I was thinking of doing a BFI and attaching a duct to go under the headlight & come out in the scoop on the front bar (see pic). But i had a thought that a pod filter attached there instead would be easier and no need to seal the under-bonnet area like in the BFI.
I know it's sometimes a hot topic to who thinks standard or pod is better. I currently don't have an after market exhaust & headers, but am planing to.
I'm interested in any opinions.
Cheers

Heath,
I installed a pod on my car few weeks ago , made it run rich and i mean rich under 400km a tank. I put in some ducting and a shield which improved thigns so much more. But since I just finished my new bar and it will go on in the next few days I will be routing the pod to behind the bar exactly where you are pointing out. I think its a good idea as long as some protection is provided to it from water.

i have had a pod for a while i found it worked better than the bfi i had before its in the engine bay but shielded off from the motor with a duct that runs out to the same spot in your picture as for the running rich i put a safc on and had it tuned at the same time so i dont know heres some pics if it helps
