Im having the celsiors header back exhaust done in late November-December and unfortunately the only known supplier I had for lukeys is no longer getting any imported from Australia.
Soo Ive found another place that has a good selection of oval style aluminum straight through mufflers rather similar to the lukeys with fiber glass packing etc.
Now what Im wondering is whats the difference in capacity size of the muffler chamber? The shop has some reasonably small 2.25" centre offset mufflers then some up to around 2.5x the size of the chamber size with the same size pipe... So what difference in exhaust note would I find with these size differences?

Generally the larger the chamber the deeper the note - but you can never know exactly how a muffler is going to resonate until its on the car. (Harmonics etc)
My Dad always used to start with a basic setup, and if he wasn't happy with it add a suitable sized hotdog upstream to get the note he wanted - but he had the advantage of getting the work done for free I guess.
