Good afternoon all!! a couple of questions to ask...

QUESTION 1: My exhaust system is totally stock and sounded like being in a gas powered taxi so i removed to rear mufflers which gave it abit more noise.. i was wondering if i remove the middle mufflers will it be to load or abit loud?? i was just going to angle grind a 3inch cut behind both middle mufflers... i have started gathering parts for my exhaust built which will consist of.. Rush Import supercharged headers, Magnaflow X-pipe, 2x Magnaflow high flow cats and 2x magnaflow straight through mufflers all on 2.25" piping.. but for now this will have to do..

QUESTION 2: I was looking at the Splitfire Performance service pack plugs, leads and filter.. they show on a Gen 3 V8 a 22kw at the rear improvement, what kindof improvement would i be expecting from our V8's??

G'day Daniel, your question about the exhaust is difficult to answer as you are the only one who can measure whether or not it is too loud.
I have done the exhaust modification you speak of and I can promise you will not be disappointed when you get around to doing it.
I would be surprised if you got the sort of gains quoted in question 2 from that modification. It's difficult to do better than the stock filter with a BFI conversion to start with and as for the plugs and leads, if they are already in good order, you will gain next to nothing.

Thanks for the reply Mike!!! Yeah im loooking forward to doing the exhaust... The reason im collecting the parts first is because i want it done my way with the parts i choose!! im sick of going to places to get stuff you asked for done and it comming out total opposite to what you asked lol.. I have done the BFI and noticed more induction but thats about it really

Well i got out the trusty Angle grinder today and grinded about 4 inches worth of pipe just before both middle mufflers... Its an amasing noise!!! still quite though well to my standards lol... Mke when you say i wont be disappointed with that setup do you mean noise wise or performance wise?? was there a noticeable difference in Power?? Im finding the v8 bit sluggish... So far i have only done the BFI
