This kind of sucks but I've got an oil leak from the thermo fan motor, I've been watching it for MONTHS but hasn't really showed me true colours, like there was no pool up of oil, until recently.
I've got the car up on stands and had to run it up to get it to start to leak but end result was the motor is leaking from somewhere.
Has this happened to anyone else?? And if so what did you do?
The new motor is worth in the 700 buck area. Yes I understand that it's 18 years old and that's not bad at all.
Give me some feedback and I'll go from there.
I also have a new radiator on it's way to me, so I'm in no real rush to get the car back on the road, just want to make sure it's done right.
I have some pics of the part I'm talking about as well as another rubber mount on the steering rack unsure as to what it actually is so when I get this sorted I'll post up what it is but basically the oil has caused to swell and it's also buggered.

Thanks Peter been a while but Neil supplied me another Fan Motor (I ended up cleaning it all again, running it up on the stands and watching the oil drip from the motor itself)
Going to try and get all the fluids back in this weekend and see how we go.
As well as do the steering rack bushes which I got from Andrew and the Grommet from Toyota.
