my radiator top tank has started to leak i was thinking about just doing the seal but as im going manual and supercharging her i thought i would look into a alloy radiator. as im going manual it wont need to have the oil cooler lines in it so then i started thinking is there much differance in the 6cyl turbo radiators to the v8 one as i know you can get alloy radiators for the 6cyl soarers allready. are the outlets in the same place and so on? also going to run thermo fans so it does'nt have to have mounting points for hydraulic fan. just wondering if any one has looked into this? thanks

my mate works at a radiator place and said he can make alloy ones but as we all know their not cheap so he's just going to chuck a new top tank seal in for now plus measure it up to build a alloy one at a later date. but if u get any news about your's neil let us all know as i bet people would be interested.

I just got a new top tank put on my radiator while it was down in Newcastle, paid 209 for a top tank fitted and checked. Beats the 400 and something I paid for the 2nd job which looks like it's about ready to let go.
But a alloy would be nice especially up here but if your worried about cooling just use NOS!!! hehehe

I have bought in two brand new alloy radiators for Celsiors and they were a direct fit with no probs , they looked to be well made with no probs so far . I can get one in for you , by air 5 to 8 days [ first one took 5 days , second one was 4 days ] cost will be $450.00 , by slow boat which will be about 6 weeks cost would come down by $80.00 . Just give me car code and year and I will get an exact price for you as they are Celsior prices . Send me an E-Mail if you want me to chase it up .

Ok , a Jzz30 manual alloy radiator $420 .00 , an auto version $444.00 . A Uzz31 alloy radiator is quite expensive in comparison , they come in at $500.00 . Freight is almost as much as the rad itself . That's about a 10 day delivery with freight from Brisbane to be factored in , if it came on the slow boat take $80.00 off the cost and figure about 6 weeks plus .

Neil Freight from Japan is included in that price !! Sorry I didn't make that very apparent did I ? Not included in that price is any freight from Brisbane to where ever else in Aus . I might add that 89 , 90 and 91 Celsior's have a copper radiator standard , so an alloy one is a nice update ,not sure if that applies to the V8 Soarer's .

I have a brand new UCF21 alloy radiator on the shelf , initially they sent the wrong radiator , not worth the freight to send it back . Going for $400.00
