Hi guys, i recently got my soarer serviced for the timing belt because it jumped 3 teeth, now after i got it done, the car is not idling properly, it is sounds like it pops/misses a rev, now could this be due to the timing belt just need adjusting or something else. i also put in new leads - top guns, n ngk iridium spark plugs.

Hope you can help.

David, the first thing that comes to mind is a bent valve if your timing belt has jumped teeth.
Do a compression test.
Assuming you have put the new plug leads in the correct sequence?

91 V8's are non-interference, so the valves should be OK.

First of all try and work out if its happening on a particular cylinder, or across all of them. Sounds like it might be something as simple as a missfire on one cylinder. Check each plug for spark. If you can rule out an ignition issue, then check the cam positions at TDC. If thats OK then it may be something unrelated to the service.
