Hi Guys.
im thinking about getting my exhausts done this weekend.
already have Big rush headers and rival mufflers in the trunk.
the question is.
do i go with a 3inch set up or 2.5inch setup?
will be getting a piggyback ecu down the line also.
so what do you guys recommend?
was thinking about getting magnaflow cats for it also.
oh..
one of the main points i would like to keep is have the car running not too loud,unless i push it.

3" inch is way too much. 2.5" is great without headers, probably borderline with. Which size headers did you get?

Headers = more noise.
Bigger pipe = more noise.
So Headers + bigger pipes = lot more noise.

i have the Big Rush headers currently
and pair of 3 inch rival mufflers.
most likely will be going to a SC setup in the future.

Even with the SC setup 2.5" is more than fine mate.

I'm running a twin 3" system behind a set of Neil's supercharger headers. It has twin 3" magnaflow metallic cats, a twin 3" magnaflow centre muffler box with built in x-pipe.

i was thinking of going with 3" magnaflow cats and 3" xpipe too.

I'm really happy with the system now. I ran it before without any cats and straight through and f#@k me it was loud.

It's great now, beautiful note at idle and reasonable under full load. The magnaflow muffler with the built in x-pipe is a great piece of gear, pricey though, but i recommend it.
