Did a check today on the leads:

8 - 22 ohms
7 - 11
6 - 108
5 - 22
4 - 92
3 - 15
2 - 5
1 - 5

Is it fair to say the leads need changing (6 & 4 definite).

Has anyone priced a recent change for a V8.

I can supply Karlyn STI lead sets and they come with an extra coil lead for the Soarers $140.00 plus any freight in Australia .

Thanks Rich.

I have had quotes for the Top Gun. Is there any real difference from the Top Gun & Karlyn STI ?

I'm assuming they all have roughly the same specs.

There's a good chance the top gun leads will be the wrong lengths, they may have finally fixed the problem by now though......A quick search will give you an idea of the problems people have had

A lot of people seem to use the Eagle leads

I used a set of Top Gun leads and they were fine, no problem with the length of the Coil leads or the plug leads.

Where to start , no disrespect for top gun or eagle but they are not in the same park .
These leads are probably better than genuine , double silicon spiral leads with S/S fittings and the kit comes with 3 coil leads so it can do LS/Celsior and Soarer's .
Have supplied quite a few of these and fitted about 6 sets myself .These even have degree'd fittings inside the caps , no using straight fittings in angled rubber boots , even have a smear of lubricant on the inside end of the cap that goes over the plug !!
If you want cap, rotors and NGK Platinum plugs also let me know , plugs come in at $9.80 each .

Rich I'd also like a set of leads. From your post it sounds as though they fit a v8 without modification and are at least as good as the genuine part(?)Can you please give me postage costs, your details and delivery time. Thanks
