Hey guys, I have been having this warning come up for the past 3 or so months now. It is the "Brake fluid low" messege and also the handbrake symbol. they come up in together almost every time i apply the brakes. however, my brake fluid is full and has been checked by a few mechanics. Any suggestions or tips to get rid of this would be fantastic!!

thanks alot in advance,
Geoff

Pull the sensor off from the side of the master cylinder, it was the only way I could stop mine.

Geoff, try OVER FILLING the master cyl a bit.

Has been proven to work on many occasions.

Essentially it's caused by a faulty/leaking float unit in the m/cyl reservoir, and by topping up the fluid OVER the normal full mark it fools the sender into thinking that all's well in the land of Soarer.

If over filling (~5 mm) doesn't work just get a new sensor from Toyota. There is a tutorial somewhere regarding cleaning and refurbishing them also.
