hey just looking for some advice, my car not starting at the moment, she cranks but theres no final start, so there not flat battery or anything there fuel in the tank to create spark but still nothing ? i injected some fuel into the block to see if i had a fuel pump problem that still did't do anything, the RAC dude said he thinks he i have a issue with my Crank sensor? have no clue were it is or if that really is the problem, the RAC dude looked a little confused and said he dont no much about these any help any ideas,


i would love to get her started up and working for the Show and shine this sunday

I do recall the crank sensors can play up after a while, could well be related to that?

I would start with the Fuel pump ECU bypass... In the diagnostics box you bridge FP and B+. Also check the EFI fuses in the fuse box.

check the wiring ....1 crank sensor,bottom just behind bottom pulley...2 cam angle sensors the wires at the front of engine half way up ..make sure the belt has not worn any wiring.

It could be a faulty igniter.

One of the cam sensor's wiring sits very close to the belt and it has been known to wear through.

A faulty ignitor will not stop it from starting, unless you have 2 faulty ignitors. Likewise with coils and leads.

FP ECU bypass is the first place to start.
