I'm a new Soarer owner today i went down to Supercheap.When i got their i noticed that i had about 3 or 4 foot of fibreglass hanging out of the left exhaust.It looked like i had a long trail of hair hanging out of my exhaust.Also my rego states that my Soarer is a 2001 model it says 2001 on the i.d. tag but then there is another type of i.d. tag which is green and it has 1993 on it.Will these vin no#UZZ310009707 help in anyway of finding out the exact model of my Soarer.
The later date is probably when it was complianced in Australia.
The stuffing in your muffler is unravelling. Look inside and you may be able to see where from and possibly bend the metal a tad to stop it.
Apart from that, cut it off as close as you can and use something to poke it back down where it came from. Otherwise it will keep going until it's all gone - if it's one length and you will need a new muffler.

Thanks a lot for that all i've come from driving a vn comm and EB Ghia to my Soarer.I'm still learning how to work different things and finding new things everyday.I have been and still we be reading through this forum to learn as much as i can about Soarers.
