Just wondering what is the easiest way to remove the power steering lines. My high pressure PS lines has started to weep and I want to catch the leak before it gets worse. I am not sure if Castle Hill Toyota have the lines in stock else its Pirtek time.
The UZZ31 power steering lines is easy to remove but I haven't done a UZZ32 power steering.

Manage to remove the high pressure pipe and found to have ALOT of hairline cracks in the pipe. Hopefully Castle Hill Toyota has the part I need in stock, else its Pirtek.

I had just the 2 main high pressure hoses remade at pirtek in Newcastle and it cost me $240. I thought that was a bit hot but genuine are many times that price

Dave I haven't tried it yet because I also need an ECU. I was aware that there could be a problem with aftermarket hoses so I checked with Pirtek and the original hose is 10mm bore and the new one is 9.7mm. I don't think .3mm will be any problem at all

Now the car is running, the power steering is heaps quieter with the Pirtec hoses, than what it was with the originals. I can only assume the original leaking hoses had also swollen up inside and were restricting oil flow.
