Hi all,
Tried searching found a little info., but not exactly what I needed.
My parents have an Aristo with a leaking TRC brake master unit...pretty sure nitrogen is low too etc etc.
Is there someone who can service these I mean the master cylinder itself? I read maybe Peter Taplin does this? But I am not sure if he only does the nitrogen canister and not the master brake cylinder?
Otherwise going to have to find an overpriced second hand unit, and hope it doesn't meet the same fate as this one!

Although pretty unhelpful information I'll contribute what I know...
I had a thread open a while back because my master cylinder was leaking (not sure if the aristo has a different master cylinder to the UZZ31) but I took it to some specialist brake rebuilding place and they wouldn't touch it at all. I ended up buying a second hand unit and putting that in.
To be honest for someone like me who has reasonably limited automotive abilities it wasn't that hard at all - the hardest part was picking the heavy bastard up and getting it into the engine bay all lined up properly!!

Ah yes I read your thread just after I posted this. Seems rebuilding is limited to the accumulator at a whopping $400 a pop. So anyway trying to find a good second hand unit at the moment. Hopefully the accumulator on that will be ok for now. Can't afford 300 and then another 400

I had my entire master cylinder replaced recently and for a new item from japan cost $3500 with a two year warranty because we couldn't find a second hand master cylinder.
