In the process of a head clean, rebuild and other vital servicing I've been measuring the valve clearances before they come apart.
My 1991 has done 100,000k's which at first I was skeptical on but as I looked into it more and more it's become obvious these are true k's, the evidence under the cam covers also reinforce this as they are exceptionally clean, no sludge build up or anything.
Upon measuring the shim clearances this reflected its in good order, most of the readings were bang on and had very little wear - signs of a low mileage engine. I'm going to do the right side tomorrow but for now heres the readings so far.
